Weight loss challenge week 3

So its week 3 of Cats weight loss challenge and the task was to do two exercises for 30 minutes each. I do exercise quite alot anyway but the last few months this had dropped down from daily to a few times a week, but this week I have really got back into it, I have been to the gym as well as using my treadmill on an average on half hour a day,

and I have been using the wii fit alot too, even if it has just been to do the free stepping thing while I watch hollyoaks or something, so I would say the past week or so I have been doing atleast 45mins of exercise a day on top of going to work where I move around alot so have been doing quite well on that front!


I have also been doing a 6min pilates video of abs exercises and attempting to do sit ups the past few days, Im not too sure im doin them right tho, any tips on how to do them right?

Weight Loss week 2

This weeks challenge was to post a photo of myself which I like, I had to go through all my facebook photos as my laptop has broken and been sent off to be fixed so I didnt have any on my old one to choose from so this took a while lol. I chose this one which was taken on a night out in about october 2009 with uni friends as I was really happy that night and in a good place, I look a bit demented cos we were trying to climb on my car for a photo and falling back off but it makes me smile,


I have been trying to exercise more this week, I cleared off my treadmill as for the past few months it had been storing clothes and things and I have been using it most days and I went to the gym more this week so Im getting there with the whole getting back into exercise thing :)

Weight loss

Here is my post on challenge one of Cat's weight loss challenge. This was too tell 3 things which I currently love about myself.
Heres mine:

  1. My eyes, I love the colour, they are green and the shade seems to change quite frequently which always amazes me.
  2. My shoulders and chest is quite slender and seems to stay like this however much weight I put on so I guess I like this area.
  3. That my confidence is definatly getting better these days, I used to be the most shy person, Im still shy but not too that extreme anymore :)

I know the challenge was supposed to start today but I will admit I had a dominos pizza this evening, I have had a horrible weekend as my grandma died yesterday so I decided a deserved a final treat before I got started. So I will start properly tomorrow :) x

Fitness post

This is abit different to my normal post but I have noticed alot of other bloggers have been posting about their plans to shape up for the new year and Cat is having a weight loss challenge over on her blog here! So I thought I would post aswell as having somewhere to put my plans and results will hopefully give me some extra motivation. Cat did suggest videos on progress as well but I am seriously the most shy person ever so i think Im going to stick to blog posts for the time being.

I am currently 5'4 and 8stone 5ish. I know that is not overweight but my weight seems to have been very up and down the last 5 months or so and I would like to stabalise it at a weight Im happy with and get fitter. I had a bad break up in august which saw me drop to about 8 stone 2, then I went back up to about 8 stone 10 as I got back to normal and then about a month ago I had a bad time again and again dropped down to about 8 stone 3. I feel more comfortable when I am these lower weights and would say that it is probably my ideal weight but I put weight on easily and have gone back to eating rubbish again and the weight is coming back on quickly, and it goes straight to my face which I hate and I feel very bloated alot of the time. I seem to be comfort eating at the moment which I can only relate to the fact my grandma has been very ill in hospital for a few months, I am eating a lot of sweets like haribo which is also giving me spots which is unusual for me so i am also going to drink alot more water. I do drink alot of water anyway as I like it and i always feel better when I get into a routine of drinking lots of water daily.

So my plan for shaping up is to cut out the sweets, chocolates and stuff and to stop picking at things in between meals, and also to stop eating so many take aways as I seem to eat them more than I eat at home these days! I will go to the gym more than the once I week I seem to have dropped down too and get back into using my treadmill and wii fit at home as before I went on holiday this year I was using both daily and seeing good results.
I have also been walking home from work quite alot the last few weeks due to the snow making it pretty impossible to drive my car without killing myself. it is about 2 and a half miles and I have found I quite enjoy the walks, its quite calming and I feel good after doing it, so I am going to try and keep this up and walk home from work atleast once or twice a week even after the snow has finally gone.

Happy new year!

Happy new year everyone :) This is a quick post about my new years resolutions for 2010, more something for me to look back at and see if iv achieved anything i guess.

So here they are:


  1. To actually go to all my classes and lectures this term instead of

going back to bed when my alarm goes off!

2. To start revising in atleast march!

3. To go to the gym atleast 3 times a week!

4. To find a job i will love for after I graduate.

5. To stop letting my ex get to me, never gonna move on properly if I dont.

6. To meet some one nice and stop wasting time with idiots like I seem to enjoy doing at the moment!

I know none of them are particularily interesting but I cant think of much else.

I went out last night and had a great night, I did take my camera out but I completely forgot about it so only actually took 3 photos all night and only ended up with one of myself. you cant really see my make up but I had used st moritz fake tan for my body and xen tan luxe on my face and both came out really well so I felt nice and brown, my make up was pretty basic, just lots of mascara, bit of black eye liner, coralista blush and a highlighter.
